Senior Network Engineer

One of Energize’s clients is currently undergoing a network transition from one outsourcing partner to a new provider. To ensure a smooth process and clear accountability, they are seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Manager to oversee the network and coordinate effectively between all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the network transition and ensure smooth collaboration between providers.
• Review and interpret network error protocols, escalating issues appropriately.
• Guide problem-solving processes, identifying and resolving root causes efficiently.
• Support re-engineering of network components (switches, hubs, firewalls) in line with new objectives.
• Provide clear communication and guidance to engineers and teams, ensuring alignment across partners.
• Report progress and updates to management, helping maintain clarity and structure throughout the transition.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, ideally with experience moving into management or coordination (5+ years).
• Strong technical knowledge of firewalls, switches, hubs, and general network architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication skills in German and English to work with multiple stakeholders.

Contract Details:

• Duration: ASAP start until end of May, with possibility of extension
• Working Model: Hybrid role – client based in Hamburg; initial 2 weeks onsite for onboarding, then flexible remote work
