Job Title: Network Security Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of security across our enterprise networks. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and keeping systems aligned with compliance and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and administer network security solutions.
- Configure and manage firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and enforce robust security policies.
- Diagnose and resolve network and security issues.
- Monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats.
- Define and design secure network architectures.
- Collaborate with teams to align security strategies.
- Ensure systems comply with ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS 2 standards.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience in network and security engineering.
- Expertise in firewall implementation and management (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Proficiency in network segmentation and VPN protocols (IPsec, SSL).
- Experience with IDS/IPS systems and authentication policies (RADIUS, TACACS+).
- Hands-on knowledge of security protocols (TLS, SSH, IPsec).
Tools and Technologies:
- Firewalls: Checkpoint (SmartConsole, R80.x), Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager), Palo Alto (PAN-OS, Prisma Access).
- Load Balancers: F5 Networks, Citrix ADC.
- Network Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix.
- Authentication Solutions: Cisco ISE, Microsoft Active Directory, Okta.
- Log Management and SIEM: Splunk, ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana).
