DevOps Engineer

IT Service & Release Management Specialist (DevOps / ITSM)

Location: Luxembourg

Contract: 1-year contract with possibility of extension

We are looking for an experienced ITSM Devops Engineer for our client that is in the public sector in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Change, Incident, Problem, Deployment, and Release Management activities
• Set up, maintain, and continuously improve release and deployment processes
• Coordinate and support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for problem management
• Set up, maintain, and support applications and tools across all technical layers
• Use DevOps tools to support CI/CD pipelines

Experience:

• DevOps environments, software development methodologies, and release management
• ITIL best practices
• Sybase and Oracle databases
• Scripting (Unix Bash, Groovy, or equivalent)
• Programming (Python, Java, or equivalent)
• Web technologies (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache)
• Version control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
• Release planning and coordination
• Incident management, including analysis, risk & impact assessment, and follow-up
• Linux and Windows system monitoring and troubleshooting
• Middleware such as JBOSS EAP or equivalent
• SQL (Sybase and Oracle)
• Tools including GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira, Azure DevOps, Ansible
