The Role & Your Impact

The People & Office Coordinator is a hybrid position that balances HR operations with office management. We are looking for a team member to support handling essential HR tasks while also being the go-to contact for our physical office space. 

This is a role for someone who likes working from the office and a variety of tasks; one hour you might be drafting an employment contract, and the next you might be solving a facility issue or putting away the grocery order. Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

HR Operations

  • HR Administration: Own the employee lifecycle documentation (contracts, amendments, certificates) and maintain our HRIS with meticulous accuracy.

  • Lifecycle Management: Lead the onboarding and offboarding journeys to ensure every team member’s first and last day is world-class.

  • Payroll & Compliance: Support local HR operations, ensuring smooth payroll coordination and adherence to Dutch labor laws.

Office Management 

  • Office maintenance: Oversee day-to-day office flows, including vendor relationships, mail sorting, invoice submission,  coordinating facility repairs, basic IT troubleshooting, and office supply procurement.

  • Safety & Wellness: Coordinate Health & Safety procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers.

  • Culture & Events: Organizing local company events and initiatives that boost employee engagement and experience.

  • Bonus Project: You’ll play a key role in our upcoming office move and setup, giving you a tangible hand in shaping our future workspace.

Essential skills for the role 
  • Friendly, proactive, and communicative team player.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creative  and great problem-solving skills.

  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • 1-3 years of HR experience in the Netherlands.

  • Experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, G Suite, Jira).

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Bonus points if
  • You’re fluent or actively learning Dutch

  • Office or event management experience

SALARY RANGE:

36,700€ - 45,900€ gross/anually
