The Role & Your ImpactThe People & Office Coordinator is a hybrid position that balances HR operations with office management. We are looking for a team member to support handling essential HR tasks while also being the go-to contact for our physical office space.
This is a role for someone who likes working from the office and a variety of tasks; one hour you might be drafting an employment contract, and the next you might be solving a facility issue or putting away the grocery order. Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
HR Operations
HR Administration: Own the employee lifecycle documentation (contracts, amendments, certificates) and maintain our HRIS with meticulous accuracy.
Lifecycle Management: Lead the onboarding and offboarding journeys to ensure every team member’s first and last day is world-class.
Payroll & Compliance: Support local HR Operations, ensuring smooth payroll coordination and adherence to the German labor law.
Office Management
Office maintenance: Oversee day-to-day office flows, including vendor relationships, mail sorting, invoice submission, coordinating facility repairs, basic IT troubleshooting, and office supply procurement.
Culture & Events: Organizing local company events and initiatives that boost employee engagement and experience.
Safety & Wellness: Coordinate Health & Safety procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers.
Friendly, proactive, and communicative team player.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creative and great problem-solving skills.
Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
1-3 years of HR experience in Germany.
Experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, Jira…etc).
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
You already have some experience in Workplace Management :)
