Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects (mainly photovoltaic plants) through all phases, from conceptual design and engineering to construction and commissioning.

You will also be responsible for managing technical permitting processes with public authorities and grid operators, from initial application to commercial operation.

Role Overview

• Lead the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects
• Coordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning
• Manage technical and regulatory procedures
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage the design and construction of power generation projects (mainly PV) and associated grid connection infrastructure
• Lead owner’s engineering activities
• Manage tender processes for main equipment and EPC contracts
• Develop and monitor project schedules and risk management plans
• Prepare and control project budgets and analyze deviations
• Monitor market trends and new technologies
• Report project status to senior management

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate project activities with partners in line with company policies and procedures

Profile & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in renewable energy project execution (preferably photovoltaic)
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills
• Strong negotiation skills with public authorities, partners, and suppliers
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Advanced English level (C2 or equivalent); other languages are a plus
• High standards of integrity, compliance, and safety awareness
