The company has a fast-growing portfolio of premium, design-led cookware and small appliances, focused on innovation, performance, and contemporary aesthetics for Indian and global consumers.

Role Overview

The Product Manager will own and manage assigned categories within the cookware and small appliances portfolio, with end-to-end responsibility across the product lifecycle. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, strengthening category leadership, and ensuring successful product launches in India and selected international markets.

The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including sourcing, supply chain, marketing, finance, design, and sales to ensure market-relevant, commercially viable, and

innovative products.'

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio & Lifecycle Management

· Own the complete product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life decisions

· Track and improve product margins, pricing, schemes, and discount structures

· Drive accurate product forecasting and demand planning in coordination with supply chain and sales teams

· Set product-level targets across channels and track performance vs plans

· Rationalize portfolio based on performance, profitability, and strategic fit.

Market & Consumer Insights

· Conduct continuous market and competitive analysis (India and global markets)

· Identify whitespace opportunities based on consumer needs, trends, and unmet gaps

· Leverage primary and secondary research to assess sales potential, positioning, and pricing

· Track emerging technologies, materials, and innovations in cookware and appliances.

New Product Development (NPD)

· Lead new product development initiatives from concept to commercialization

· Define product briefs, specifications, and business cases

· Work with sourcing, design, and quality teams to ensure cost, quality, and timeline adherence

· Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including IoT and smart features where relevant

Product Launch & Go-to-Market

· Develop comprehensive launch strategies for new products across channels

· Coordinate with marketing on BTL activities, digital plans, and content requirements

· Drive packaging and gift box design in collaboration with marketing and design teams

· Support creation of supporting assets such as recipe books, demos, and training material

Sales Enablement & Performance Tracking

· Work closely with sales teams to track product performance and gather market feedback

· Support sales with product training, presentations, and competitive comparisons

· Continuously refine offerings based on customer and channel feedback

Skill Set & Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory

· MBA preferred, ideally from a reputed institute

Experience

· Min 5+ years of experience in product management, category management, or NPD

· Prior experience in cookware, consumer durables, FMCG appliances, or related categories preferred

· Prior experience in trade marketing will be an advantage.
