Introduction
As a Summer Trainee – Corporate Legal, you will:
An exciting position in Metso's Corporate Legal team as part of Legal & Compliance function. You will get a chance to work, learn and grow with the global Legal team of highly skilled professionals, where your team will support your growth. You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time or full-time.
We offer benefits, such as healthcare, Epass Flex, Auntie mental well-being service, flexible working times, buddy support, learning opportunities, and networking and social activities in all our locations throughout the summer.
The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.

Introduction
As a Summer Trainee – Corporate Legal, you will:
- Support our lawyers in Corporate Legal team in Corporate, Competition, IT&Digital, Privacy, AI and other relevant legal fields
- Support in subsidiary governance related documents and in communication with authorities in various countries
- Support in privacy & data protection matters
- Support for preparation and implementation of Metso legal policies, guidelines and trainings Support lawyers in contracting work, background research, as well as other assignments and projects
- Support with annual report preparations
- Have an opportunity to work in a global environment with various stakeholders
- Have versatile and challenging tasks in a global setting that will develop your professional skills and competencies
- A higher degree study background in law, preferably at least third-year student
- A proactive can-do mindset and willingness to take on new challenges
- Positive attitude and great work ethic
- Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively
- An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.
- Good skills in MS Office tools.
- Fluent communication (written and oral) skills in English; Finnish and other languages are an asset.
