Fresh Food Product Manager | MAF Retail | Corporate Head Office UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

The Fresh Food Product Manager is a product development expert who sources, negotiates and delivers Private Label brand relevant products to the right specifications, at the right cost and to agreed timelines, that support a defined category strategy. The role involves collaborating with Private Label Brand Managers and Sourcing to align with the overall category strategy while leveraging a network of top-tier suppliers and staying informed on global, national, and local trends for the category.

ROLE PROFILE

• Develop products as agreed with the Sourcing Managers (including target cost, TCM, quality, agreed timelines).
• Determine product specifications and requirements that meet brand guidelines.
• Negotiate in line with product specs a favorable cost and trading terms.
• Own the supplier relationship including due diligence to ensure suppliers can deliver what’s promised, reducing risk for Majid AlFuttaim Retail
• Provide relevant information that enables stock controllers to determine accurate forecast.
• Manage Private Label SKUs and supplier relationships.
• Negotiate Promotional deals with suppliers to secure the best purchase conditions for Majid AlFuttaim Retail.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fresh food category management experience is a must.
• Relevant experience in product sourcing and product development.
• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
