Human Resource Generalist

We are seeking a Human Resource Generalist in Finland to provide professional, confidential, and highly responsive HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on, tactical role focused on delivering excellent HR service, maintaining compliance, and supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR needs within a global organization.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, and day-to-day HR matters
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee communications, HR administration, and offboarding
• Maintain accurate employee records and update the HR system
• Prepare employee letters and communications, and coordinate pre-employment screening
• Partner with regional HR leadership and local Finland leadership on compliance requirements and Finland-specific initiatives
• Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance and the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Support employee relations activities, including documentation and note-taking for meetings as needed
• Conduct exit interviews and partner with HR colleagues on retention insights and actions

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a fast-paced HR role (HR Generalist / HR Advisor / HR Specialist level) with strong operational execution
• Confidence handling first-line employee relations topics and coaching managers on routine HR questions
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Comfort working with HR systems and data (HRIS experience preferred)
• A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
