Senior Software Engineer

One of our clients is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in React, Node, Typescript and AWS to join their growing team. The domain they work in is pretty complex, assisting organisations assess investments in grid connect energy systems, think time series data from live markets, forecasting and pricing structures and financial schedules so if you're working in one of these domains and fancy something new and meaningful it could be for you!

At a high level, the platform is a React app built with TypeScript interacting via

GraphQL with different services and components. The backend is a

mix of TypeScript/Node and Python, hosted in AWS Serverless and a number of different databases.

We're looking for someone with a bit more of a Frontend lean and a skillset that looks like the following:

• Experience in designing and building web applications with React
• Customer focused and with some knowledge of UX and design
• Strong software engineering and system design skills and experience
• Knowledge and working experience with some of if not AWS, CI/CD, Branching strategies, Automated testing, Observability and Security.
• Ability to work collaboratively in both in-person and remote work environments through the use of Sync and A-Sync communication styles.
