We are looking for an Experienced Network Engineer who can work onsite at a client location in Poznań, Poland.
Project Duration: 4 to 6 Months
Location: Poznań, Poland
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
- Install, configure, and support network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Manage network security, including firewall rules, access control, and VPN connectivity
- Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patching
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network-related issues
- Support data center and cloud networking environments as required
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in network engineering or network support roles
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP – basic knowledge preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking devices
- Experience with firewall configuration and network security best practices
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of Linux/Windows networking concepts
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
