About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Developer who is passionate about building the next generation of infotainment systems based on Google’s Android Automotive OS. What You’ll Do

As an Android Infotainment Developer, you will work across the application and native layers of the AOSP stack to develop infotainment solutions. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and other development teams to define cohesive, end-to-end solutions.

You will be involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including:

  • Design and architecture
  • Documentation
  • Development
  • Verification and validation

You will also stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the solutions remain at the cutting edge of technology.


We are looking for someone with:

  • A Master’s degree in Software Engineering, or
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience


Required experience and skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Android application development using Java and/or Kotlin
  • Strong knowledge of AOSP and the AOSP build system
  • Familiarity with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture
  • Experience with traditional Android UI frameworks
  • Knowledge of Jetpack Compose is considered a plus


Testing experience:

  • Unit testing (JUnit, Mockk)
  • Instrumentation and UI testing (Espresso)
  • End-to-end testing frameworks where applicable


Additional requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a Linux-based development environment
  • Experience with Python scripting
  • Strong knowledge of Git
  • Familiarity with Gerrit for code review and collaborative development


Meritorious experience:

  • Previous work on automotive infotainment systems or large-scale embedded Android platforms
  • A Swedish B driver’s license is considered a strong advantage
