Our client is a fast-growing design and innovation agency based in Amsterdam. They collaborate with governments and businesses to develop intuitive digital products, seamless services, and effective innovation engines. They're currently looking for a new talent in product design to boost our digital projects.

Role Overview

Are you passionate about making a positive impact through digital products? Do you want to continue developing yourself by working on diverse, complex design projects worldwide, both in terms of strong UX skills and strategic innovation? Then this role is for you.

In this role, you'll be a strategic partner for both clients and internal teams. You'll take ownership of the entire design process, from discovery and analysis to concept development, validation, and implementation. You'll seamlessly transition between strategy and execution, translating complex issues into clear, people-focused solutions.

You'll work independently on projects, monitor quality and direction, and collaborate closely with stakeholders from various disciplines. You'll also mentor mid-level designers, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help further strengthen the design discipline within the company.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients at strategic and executive levels on UX, digital product development and user-centered design
• Understanding complex user and customer needs and translating these into strong product and design choices
• Designing and validating digital products: from wireframes and design systems to prototypes and high-fidelity designs
• Setting up and conducting usability and validation research
• Take the lead in stakeholder management, project progress and quality assurance, including scope and expectations
• Coaching less experienced colleagues.
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing, propositions and the further development of the company

Your profile

• You have a relevant HBO/WO diploma
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Portfolio (UX/UI)
• Good command of English. Dutch is a plus.
• Skilled in user-centric design methods
• Strategic, empathetic and holistic thinker
• Available from February/March for 40 hours per week. Start date to be determined in consultation
