About Leapher Yachts

Leapher Yachts is a new, innovative superyacht shipyard with an established location in Tolkamer, steeped in maritime history. A small but dedicated international team, building unique explorer superyachts with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Their first vessel is due for delivery by the end of 2025 and additional projects in the pipeline, and they’re looking for a driven, experienced Project Manager to lead these builds and play a vital role in their journey.

Role Overview

Leapher Yachts is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the yacht build process, working directly under the Managing Director. As an all-rounder with at least 10 years of experience in the superyacht industry - including new builds. The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment and excel in hands-on project management within a close-knit team. This role will involve direct coordination with an active shareholder and close collaboration with the entire team, ensuring smooth project progress and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of yacht build processes, from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with the shareholder, MD, and small team to keep projects aligned with Leapher Yachts’ standards and vision.
• Drive project schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality deliveries.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and contractors.
• Monitor project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions proactively.
• Coordinate with technical and operational teams to ensure design, engineering, and production align with project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact on the build for the shareholder, MD, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the superyacht industry, with a background in new builds.
• Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach and the capability to build rapport within a small, international team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently, without reliance on a management company.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering top-tier results.
• Decisive, resilient, and willing to go the extra mile beyond the standard job description.

What Leapher Offers

• Full-time position with a competitive salary in the range of €80,000 - €110,000.
• Standard Dutch employment contract, with the potential for the 30% ruling tax advantage for eligible expats.
• Relocation package (negotiable).
