Role Description

We’re looking for a Junior/Mid Embedded Developer (Firmware) who wants to grow professionally in the embedded systems field and work on real, production-grade energy technologies. This role is ideal for an embedded developer with a solid foundation who wants to deepen their skills while working on meaningful products.

As an embedded developer at Iglu Tech, you will work with Energy Storage Systems, Solar inverters, EV charger control systems, including EMS, BMS controllers, and IoT modules. You will collaborate closely with experienced firmware, electronics, design engineers, and product teams. You will use modern embedded development practices and tools. This position offers strong learning opportunities and a clear path toward becoming a senior embedded developer over time.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain high-quality firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux devices

· Participate in the full development lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, testing, and validation.

· Implement technical solutions based on provided specifications and architectural guidelines.

·  Assist in system-level design discussions and contribute ideas to firmware and product architecture

· Work closely with senior firmware developers, software engineers, and electronics engineers to ensure proper hardware–software integration.

·  Debug firmware issues using standard embedded debugging tools.

·  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

·  Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

·  Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, testing setups, and development workflows.

·  Gradually increase your knowledge of firmware modules and subsystems across the entire energy control product line.

What We Are Looking For

· 2-3 years of experience in embedded firmware development, with the ability to solve firmware-related problems.

·  Knowledge of C/C++ (Python for scripting/automation is a plus).

·  Experience with ARM Cortex-M / STM32, ESP32, or similar MCU families.

·  Understanding of FreeRTOS principles, or experience in RTOS environments.

·  Understanding of Embedded Linux and SoC-based systems.

·  Understanding of electronics fundamentals and ability to read schematics.

·  Has experience in structured development (Agile/Scrum), version control (Git), modern development workflows, and management tools (Jira or similar).

Highly Valued Experience

·  Work experience in Embedded Linux environments.

·  Practical experience with communication protocols (CAN, RS485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS/SSL).

·  Work experience with energy storage systems, BMS, or inverter technologies.

· Ability to perform in-depth debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and low-level tracing tools if needed.

·  Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for connected energy devices.
