Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead and govern a complex portfolio of cloud and infrastructure initiatives across multiple workstreams. The successful contractor will be responsible for end-to-end programme delivery, stakeholder management, financial control, and alignment of technology delivery with business strategy.

This role requires strong leadership across distributed teams and proven experience delivering large-scale cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, and enterprise IT transformation programmes in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver a multi-stream cloud and infrastructure programme from initiation through to completion
• Define programme governance, roadmap, milestones, and success metrics
• Lead delivery of cloud migrations (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Manage budgets, forecasts, risks, dependencies, and vendor contracts
• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and delivery teams
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards
• Drive delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Report programme status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership

Required Experience

• Proven experience as an IT Programme Manager on large-scale cloud and infrastructure programmes
• Strong background delivering cloud migration, data centre exit, or infrastructure modernisation initiatives
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and governance experience
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and operating models
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience managing system integrators, MSPs, and cloud service providers

Desirable

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP transformation programmes
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
• Delivery experience across European or global programmes
• Exposure to DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering models

• Hybrid working model depending on customer requirements
