Job Description
Credit Journey Tribe teams have a mission to transform traditional credit granting processes and put customers first by fast and transparent credit decisions. Our focal point is to engage gratification and higher customer satisfaction from what we do. Some of the key aspects that will take us there, are automated decisions in the customer journey by working from a perspective of contributing to a standardised process and minimizing resources spend.
You will be part of an international team, working from our offices (or home) in Vilnius. A team with a flat structure and informal atmosphere. The role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the Front-end technology strategy across multiple squads, ensuring a direct impact on both technical and business outcomes.
Our focus is to have a good collaboration and enable the best in each other. You will be working in a self-organised Agile Squad, which brings together the best of expert knowledge to secure best standards for our solutions and increase end-to-end ownership.

Monthly salary range from 5760 EUR to 8640 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Squad Leader, Chapter Lead. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Software Engineering under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.

You will:
- Define and uphold front-end technical standards for consistency, scalability, accessibility, and performance
- Mentor and develop front-end engineers through coaching, feedback, and career planning
- Promote best practices in frameworks, state management, testing, CI/CD, and code quality
- Take on hands-on technical leadership for complex implementations and architecture decisions
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, and Back-end teams to ensure seamless user experiences
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technologies, developer experience, and delivery speed
- Support delivery excellence by assisting squads in removing technical impediments, managing dependencies, balancing technical debt with feature development, and representing the Credit Journey tribe in DB group DevEx initiatives
- Excellent knowledge of modern front-end technologies (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, HTML, CSS, accessibility standards)
- Strong architectural and system design skills, including scalable front-end patterns, design systems, and performance optimization
- People leadership and coaching skills, with the ability mentor engineers, run feedback cycles, and support career growth
- High code quality mindset, including testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with Product, UX, Backend, and other chapter leads
- Advanced communication skills in English
- Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, balancing delivery speed, technical dept, risk, and long-term maintainability
