Senior Project Manager

Salt Bank is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager ready to play a key role in shaping the future of our banking projects!

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Focus on strategic projects per domain, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic roadmap, goals, and priorities
• Accountable for the project plans and act as the go-to person for delivery health
• Monitor project performance across the strategic plan, anticipating risks and proactively addressing blockers
• Actively engage with all teams and consolidate inputs from team members and vendors contributing to the projects in scope.
• Track dependencies and risks for projects in scope
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership when they impact delivery
• Ensure projects remain aligned with timelines and business objectives
• Responsible for cross-team coordination to ensure successful project delivery
• Manage project-level sync meetings
• Guide teams to meet delivery expectations and achieve high-quality outcomes

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure transparent communication across delivery teams
• Confirm vendor commitments are properly reflected in project timelines

Coordination & Execution Excellence

• Serve as a coordinator for the project delivery
• Schedule and ensure discussions happen at the right time with the right people
• Track outcomes, decisions, and follow-ups, updating the project plan accordingly

Reporting

• Prepare and present consolidated project-level updates, including scope, schedule, risks, and overall delivery health
• Manage vendor deliverables and internal stakeholder expectations to assess progress, performance, and future needs

Adaptability & Continuous Improvement

• Tackle startup-style challenges with agility and enthusiasm, adapting plans as business needs evolve
• Design, improve, and implement flexible processes tailored to team maturity and project context
• Foster teamwork, innovation, and a culture of ownership to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Solid project and delivery management experience, with proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) required
• Experience working in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills and an innovation-driven mindset
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with IT projects involving vendors, external partners, and internal engineering teams
• Proven ability to manage and optimize an IT project portfolio, ensuring visibility, governance, and strategic alignment
