Fullstack Software Developer

As a Fullstack Software Developer, you will design and evolve web applications that have a direct impact on user experience and business outcomes. You will work across the entire technology stack, collaborating closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy user-facing features and backend services across the full application stack.
• Translate product requirements and user stories into efficient, maintainable code and APIs.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement accessible and responsive user interfaces.
• Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to shared coding standards.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimization and scaling strategies.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth releases and effective rollback strategies.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Document architecture, technical decisions, and operational runbooks to support shared team knowledge.

Required and Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications across both frontend and backend.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and .NET.
• Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling for performance and consistency.
• Experience with version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong understanding of web security fundamentals and performance best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience using TypeScript in both frontend and backend environments.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures, message queues, or event-driven systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects demonstrating fullstack expertise.
• Experience with accessibility standards and internationalization/localization.

Reporting Line & Organizational Context

The role typically reports to an Engineering Manager and is part of a product-aligned engineering team. You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and site reliability or platform teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and user needs.

Team Structure & Collaboration

You will be part of a cross-functional team that includes product, design, and QA. Regular collaboration with other engineering teams, DevOps/platform, data, and customer-facing teams ensures shared ownership of architecture, deployment, and user outcomes. Participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and design reviews is expected.

• Frontend: React, Redux
• Backend: Node.js, .NET, authentication and authorization patterns
• Databases & caching: PostgreSQL, MS SQL
• DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
• IoT (nice to have): Experience developing and deploying IoT solutions in industrial environments, including integration with sensors, edge devices, or cloud-based communication
