Python Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced Python Developer to join an Fintech project on a B2B contract. The assignment is fully remote within Poland.

Project overview

You will be part of an AML team developing an automated research solution that supports the client onboarding process. The system is hosted in Microsoft Azure and retrieves company data from UK Companies House and international equivalents, automatically populating CIC forms based on PDF templates.

Your initial focus will be on extending the existing solution to support additional CIC form types, with further expansion planned for more international company registries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Azure Functions
• Integrate with external APIs and process retrieved data
• Work with PostgreSQL and Azure Storage
• Extend and enhance existing CIC form automation
• Collaborate on future platform expansion initiatives

Required skills

• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Functions
• Experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• API development and integration experience
• Familiarity with Azure Storage services

Nice to have

• Background in financial services or AML systems
• Experience with PDF automation or manipulation libraries
