The Role:

Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) is seeking a HR Operations Coordinator on a 23-month contract basis. The HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for the hands-on delivery and ownership of HR operations and administration across the full employee lifecycle. This is a practical, operational role that ensures HR processes run efficiently, accurately, and consistently. While the role includes day-to-day HR administration, it also plays a key role in improving processes, systems, and ways of working as the organisation grows.


Key Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day HR operations and administration across the employee lifecycle.

• Act as first point of contact for HR operational queries.

• Ensure HR processes are followed consistently and in line with policy and legislation.

• Own recruitment administration, including job postings, scheduling, candidate communication, and initial screening. Confidential

• Maintain accurate HR and recruitment data and produce standard reports.

• Act as super-user for HR systems and support system implementation and improvement.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes.

• Support the HR Manager and HR Generalist during peak periods and assist with employee relations as required.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR operations and employee experience


Required Skills and Experience:

  • A third level qualification in Human Resources (Essential).
  • CIPD accreditation desirable (or working towards)
  • 3–4 years’ experience in a senior HR Administration or HR Operations role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment and selection processes across multiple roles.
  • Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR policies, with the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing with employees and managers on routine HR matters.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee and recruitment data.
  • Ability to produce standard HR reports and support HR metrics.
  • Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and use initiative.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism due to exposure to sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and written communication.

·      Access to own transport and legal ability to drive unaccompanied in Ireland.


Location:

IMR offices are located in Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Mullingar, Co Westmeath. This position is based in our Rathcoole office. We offer a hybrid working model. Travel between offices and client sites will be required from time to time.


Salary & Benefits:  

This position will command a package consisting of basic salary (€48,896 - €54,307 depending on qualifications and experience), employer pension contribution and 5 weeks holidays.
