Salary Range: $73,000 - $80,000 base (depending on skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation.

The Opportunity:
Our HR Coordinator is a key member of our Australian HR team, responsible for providing general HR advice to employees and students while managing day-to-day administration tasks across the employee life cycle.
As the owner and subject matter expert for a range of administration processes, you’ll proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate, and ensure smooth, efficient HR operations.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just follow processes but understands how different pieces of information connect, can see the bigger picture, and apply critical thinking to anticipate what’s needed. If you’re proactive, with a can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate key employee lifecycle processes including contracts, variations, onboarding, terminations, and exit interviews, ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, and internal policies.
- Take ownership of employee data in the HCM system (SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring records are accurate, and generating reports for analysis and decision making.
- Support recruitment administration, provide backup for payroll processing and contribute to remuneration reviews and performance development cycles.
- Provide general HR advice to employees and students, aligned with legislation, awards, contracts, and internal policies, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Support health and wellbeing initiatives, including coordinating the WHS Committee, participating in safety activities, and assisting with workers’ compensation management.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience/ Our Successful Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in a HR or related degree, with an understanding of Australian employment legislation and application of modern awards
- Minimum 2 year experience in a HR Assistant or HR Administrator role, preferably in a complex or global organisation
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise work based on impact
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels to provide a positive employee experience
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- High level of attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to review work to ensure accuracy
- Aptitude for managing sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality
