Java Software Engineer

Java Full Stack Engineer- up to £75,000 + Bonus -Manchester-Hybrid

I’m partnering with a highly established financial organisation based in central Manchester that’s looking to add an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to its growing engineering team.

This is a hybrid position, with 2–3 days per week on-site in a centrally located Manchester office that’s easily commutable. The business offers a stable, well-funded environment with long-term technical roadmaps and a strong focus on modern engineering practices.

You’ll be working on scalable, high-impact systems using a contemporary Java stack, contributing across the full development lifecycle alongside experienced engineers. The team values clean code, pragmatic decision-making, and continuous improvement rather than unnecessary complexity.

What they are looking for:

• Java (commercial experience essential)
• Python (exposure)
• Spring Boot
• AWS
• React
• PostgreSQL (desirable)
• Java 21 or above

The interview process is streamlined to just two stages that are composed of a 30 minute call with the hiring manager and a technical stage.
