Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer – Security Cleared
- Location: Manchester
- Salary: £40,000–£45,000
We’re working with a leading government organisation seeking an experienced Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to join their Manchester-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and security-cleared professional who can start at short notice and is looking to work on secure, high-profile projects.
The Role:
- Monitor, support, and maintain network infrastructure within a 24/7 operational environment
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues promptly to ensure service continuity
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to maintain service levels
- Maintain accurate documentation of network incidents and configurations
Requirements:
- Active and valid Security Clearance (at the very least must be clearable)
- CCNA certification
- Proven experience in a Network Operations Centre or similar technical support environment
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- A military background or experience working within defence, government, or secure environments is highly welcomed
What’s on Offer:
- £40,000–£45,000 per annum + SC -Security Clearance
