Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer – Security Cleared

• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £40,000–£45,000

We’re working with a leading government organisation seeking an experienced Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer to join their Manchester-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and security-cleared professional who can start at short notice and is looking to work on secure, high-profile projects.

The Role:

• Monitor, support, and maintain network infrastructure within a 24/7 operational environment
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues promptly to ensure service continuity
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to maintain service levels
• Maintain accurate documentation of network incidents and configurations

Requirements:

• Active and valid Security Clearance (at the very least must be clearable)
• CCNA certification
• Proven experience in a Network Operations Centre or similar technical support environment
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A military background or experience working within defence, government, or secure environments is highly welcomed

• £40,000–£45,000 per annum + SC -Security Clearance
