Job description:
We are looking for a Digital Software Engineer willing to join our Digital Team composed of young software engineers, automation engineers, and data scientists. You will work daily using Scrum to implement the best practices of the DevOps methodology. Moreover, you will be significantly involved in our process of digital transformation and energy transition, and you will have the opportunity to influence it daily with your creativity and innovative strength.
You will carry on the following activities:
- Develop the Tenova IoT platform monitoring remotely our customers' plants and equipment: from analysis and definition of requirements to release in production;
- Further implement our ever-growing IoT platform by developing and deploying microservices and running them on both cloud (Microsoft Azure) and on-premises platforms using Microsoft IoT Edge;
- Develop predictive maintenance applications and process optimization algorithms providing our customers with dashboards able to monitor remotely plant status and KPIs;
- Develop new services and extend existing ones, also integrating existing services and products on the market developed by the network of our industrial partners;
- Develop new applications able to collect, clean, and transform large and complex datasets to prepare them for analysis and modeling
- Analyze data using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Work with colleagues from different Product Lines to help them create and bring to the market innovative solutions.
Required profile:
- STEM Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and experience in the same role;
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (.NET Framework, C#);
- Good knowledge of APIs development and message/queue protocols like Rabbit is considered a plus
- Experience in IoT and good knowledge of Microsoft Azure be considered a plus;
- Experience as solution architect is considered a plus
- Good knowledge of Python and experience in data analysis and ML projects is considered a plus
