About the role

We're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Engineering: Engages in the design, coding, and maintenance of robust configurations for internal CI pipelines, CD mechanisms, and artifact/image registries.
• Technical Solutions: Implements intricate technical solutions, consulting with quality assurance teams to uphold high quality and reliability standards.
• Contribute to the agile delivery of features through structured technical execution.
• Deliver technically compliant and production-ready solutions in line with project standards.

Must-have competencies:

• At least of 3+ years of operational experience with self-managed Kubernetes clusters, self-managed services providing Kubernetes clusters and productive applications or systems in on premise environments.
• Proven experience in Software or DevOps Engineering, with a strong background in developing, implementing, and maintaining technical solutions.
• Profound knowledge and implementation experience with CI/CD processes, tooling (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD), concepts and associated quality and security assurance for software delivery.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming or scripting language commonly used for automation and infrastructure development (Favored languages: Python, React, Go, Java, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions, translating high-level architectural designs into functional code.
• Hand-on experience in documenting procedures properly and enforcing clear runbooks or playbooks.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Fluent English communication skills in speech and writing (at least C1 level).

Preferred competencies:

• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of complex systems, particularly internal platforms or developer tooling.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Prior experience with QA/Test automation frameworks or Service Desk system integrations, indicating a readiness for future d4p scope.
