Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end investigations into complex issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, conflicts of interest, financial and accounting misconduct, and other policy violations.
- Develop effective strategies for handling sensitive allegations while maintaining neutrality, confidentiality and adherence to relevant laws.
- Deliver clear, actionable findings through fact-based reports and recommendations that can withstand legal scrutiny, address root causes and support long-term organizational health.
- Manage multiple investigations simultaneously and expediently bring investigations to closure.
- Successfully collaborate with HR, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and fair outcomes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate or international equivalent is preferred but not required.
- AWI or CFE certification is preferred but not required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience: 8+ years conducting prompt, thorough and fair global workplace investigations, preferably at a private or publicly traded company.
- Technical skills: Experience with email search tools, Salesforce, online research, and case management systems (NAVEX EthicsPoint preferred).
- Professional qualities: Strong professional judgment, emotional intelligence, and ability to successfully work cross-functionally and build trust with stakeholders.
- Communication skills: Ability to present findings clearly in the form of fact-based conclusions and recommendations that look towards broader organizational health improvements and long-term solutions that fix root cause issues.
