IKEA Tampere store, with 300 co-workers, is now looking for a People & Culture generalist to join their team. Would you like to work with this inspiring vision and create better everyday life for the many?

We’re looking for a People & Culture Generalist who is passionate about people and eager to make a real impact. In this role, you’ll help create an inspiring IKEA experience by supporting our co-workers and leaders, ensuring our people strategies come to life every day.

To succeed in this role, you bring:
• A strong HR foundation – you understand labour rights and obligations and know how to build trustful relationships between co-workers
• Ability to take responsibility and act independently, while being a true team player who supports and couch managers in all people related matters
• A proactive mindset with a drive to improve and innovate, always looking for better ways forward.

• A results-oriented attitude, ensuring goals are met and tasks are completed with quality and efficiency.
• You have clear and effective communication skills, communicating fluently in both Finnish and English (written and spoken), which allows you to engage naturally with managers and co-workers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


In the role as Unit People & Culture Generalist, you are responsible for efficient, effective and consistent execution of all People related activities and processes in Tampere store. In this role you will report to the Unit People & Culture Manager.

✔ Executing operational people related tasks and daily routines on unit level, e.g. on- and offboarding related tasks, to deliver an excellent co-worker experience
✔ Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant people goals
✔ Ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment and on-boarding of the new talents in close collaboration with the centralized recruitment and administration teams
✔ Executing trainings for co-workers and managers
✔ Supporting and coaching managers on all people related matters (e.g. our rules and guidelines including the collective agreement, health and wellbeing, co-worker relations, performance, development)
✔ Work towards key objectives for the role, ensuring your actions contribute to the overall success of the People & Culture function and the unit’s business goals.

This position is full time 37,5 h/week and fixed term until 31.8.2026. Starting in the role by agreement, but no later than 6.4.2026.

In this role your working hours may vary from 08.00 - 18.00 based on business needs. Main working location is IKEA Tampere store.

The salary for the position starts at 3099 €/month and will be specified during the recruitment process based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and the final content of the role.
