As the first full-stack software Engineer at Animaj, you’ll be instrumental in pioneering sophisticated AI solutions that will be implemented in our 3D animation production workflows.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-stack developer to join our dynamic Engineering team, reporting into the VP of Engineering. This role involves collaborating closely with our R&D department and deploying AI technologies to revolutionize 3D animation content creation, production and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain the APIs and backend of Animaflow, our internal 3D animation production tools interfacing with our core AI production services (motion-transfer, rig-reintegration)
- Design, develop and maintain the data pipelines feeding our analytics platform used to detect and model trends in the kids’ media ecosystem on YouTube
- Design, develop and maintain our YouTube publishing automation application, used to scale publishing of our videos on YouTube
- Own CI/CD workflows and manage cloud resources
- Node.js / React / Typescript
- Python/Flask
- PostGreSQL / MongoDB
- Sagemaker, Weights and Biases
- ECR/ECS
- Airflow (AWS managed)
- GitHub Actions
- AWS
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a software engineer in fast-paced and technically demanding environment
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Hacker mindset (test often, ship often, be pragmatic), not afraid to dig into new areas that you’re not familiar with
- Experience in data-heavy environments is a plus
- Excellent API design skills
