Job Overview
As a Beta Testing Manager, you will lead the beta testing phase of the Bidsale platform, ensuring its quality, usability, and readiness for market launch. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, frequent insights sharing, and presenting user-driven recommendations for improvement. You will also utilize various user testing tools to ensure comprehensive testing and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Beta Testing Planning & Execution
- Develop a strategic beta testing roadmap with clear objectives and timelines.
- Identify, onboard, and manage a diverse group of beta testers.
- Utilization of User Testing Tools
- Use platforms like UserTesting, UXArmy, Lookback, Maze, Optimal Workshop, and UserZoom for usability testing and insights.
- Leverage session recording, heatmapping, and behavior analysis tools such as Hotjar and FullStory.
- Cross-Functional Liaison
- Regularly share insights through written and verbal updates with teams, including:
- Product Management
- Front-End & Back-End Engineering
- Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics
- CEO, CTO, COO
- Product Designers, UX/UI, Web Design & Development
- Customer Insights & Market Segmentation
- Present findings from customer cohorts and market segments, categorized by:
- Demographics: Age, income, etc.
- Geography: Regional trends and needs.
- Persona Types:B2B, B2C
- First-time buyers of auctioned real estate
- Family offices, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), and Expats
- Legal firms, Real estate investment firms, and Alternative investment funds
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify patterns and actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and implement changes.
- Create detailed reports summarizing testing outcomes, customer insights, and proposed improvements.
- Maintain thorough records of beta testing activities and user feedback.
- Identify user needs and anticipate challenges to improve overall product-market fit.
- Deliver insights that enhance usability, functionality, and engagement.
- Timely delivery of beta testing reports and feedback summaries.
- Engagement rate of beta testers during the testing phase.
- Resolution rate of usability issues identified during beta testing.
- Quality and depth of user insights presented to cross-functional teams.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in product or beta testing, quality assurance, or related fields.
- Experience with real estate platforms or tech startups is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in user testing tools and platforms such as UserTesting, UXArmy, Maze, Optimal Workshop, or similar.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and agile methodologies.
- Additional Benefit: Experience with Cursor AI, ChatGPT 4, Power BI, Python, R, or statistical tools.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

How Sweat Equity Works
- Interview Process & Rate Agreement:
- After a thorough interview process, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to propose their hourly rate.
- Achievements Tracking:
- Once collaboration begins, the independent contractor will track the hours they invest along with detailed records of their achievements and contributions.
- Conversion to Equity:
- The total hours worked will be converted into a monetary value (in €), based on the agreed hourly rate. This value will then determine the number of shares allocated to the contractor in the company’s RSUs, as part of the Irish entity VendueTech Ltd ESOP Trust.
