Head of Technical Product & Solution Design

📍 Madrid (Hybrid) | Reporting to CTO

We’re partnered with a 300+ employee organisation to hire a Head of Technical Product & Solution Design. A senior, hands-on technologist who will act as true Deputy to the CTO within a lean, high-impact IT team.

This is not coordination. This is ownership!

You’ll be the technical evangelist bridging business and modern IT: owning the application portfolio, leading product discovery, and driving Make vs Buy decisions. Working closely with architecture and delivery, you’ll turn operational pain into scalable, secure solutions — from SaaS strategy to micro-apps that replace manual processes.

What you’ll do

• Lead solution design and product discovery across 5–10 core systems
• Decide when to build vs buy, and shape data models and functional blueprints
• Act as SME for corporate applications
• Get hands-on with SQL, APIs, and logic tracing when needed
• Champion modern PO/BA practices and run high-impact demos
• Influence stakeholders and drive cultural change

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Engineering (or similar)
• Strong technical literacy (SQL, APIs, Python/Django reading)
• Infrastructure & cybersecurity awareness
• Confidence operating in “hard to change” environments
• Full professional English & Spanish
