About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Network & Cloud Engineer to support a high-profile environment related to IT and Cloud setup. This role requires hands-on expertise in network and security infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls, LAN/WiFi switching, and log management. The successful candidate will be embedded with the onsite team, providing day-to-day technical support and long-term stability for the customer environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure network operations.
• Configure and maintain LAN switches & WiFi environment for optimal connectivity and performance.
• Configure and manage AWS cloud instances.
• Provide proactive support and troubleshooting for network and security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational and compliance requirements.
• Produce technical documentation, configurations, and operational guides as needed.
• Ensure best practices in IT security and adherence to organisational policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with network setup.
• Good knowledge of LAN, WiFi, Routing, VLAN Management, and cabling technologies.
• Working experience with networking solutions.
• Experience with AWS, including setting up VPC and security groups platforms.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills in French & English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently onsite while liaising effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Tunnels setup.
• Datacenter & IP troubleshooting skills.
• Infrastructure security/firewalling skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working within IT environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle critical situations with the right attitude and approach.
• Ability to work off-business hours or weekends when required.
• Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, one week per month (covering nights and weekends).
