AI Engineer

We are partnering with a leading high-frequency trading firm to find an AI Engineer who can help shape the next generation of intelligent automation across the organization. This is a role for someone who enjoys building agentic systems that make complex processes smoother, smarter and faster and who relishes the challenge of doing so in a technically demanding environment.

What You Will do:

You will be deeply involved in developing AI-driven agents and stitching them into the firm’s broader ecosystem. Rather than working on isolated models, they’ll be creating tools that people across the business will rely on.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing robust AI agents using Python
• Integrating AI solutions with existing enterprise systems and internal platforms
• Evaluating 3rd party models and services to understand practical strengths, weaknesses, and trade-offs
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand user needs and translate workflows into effective agents
• Maintaining and improving an internal evaluation platform used to measure agent performance and reliability
• Producing high-quality, unit-tested code and upholding consistent style and documentation through code reviews and CI/CD practices
• Troubleshooting and debugging AI systems to ensure optimal performance and robustness

Who Will Thrive Here

• We’re looking for someone with both technical depth and curiosity:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• 6+ years of professional experience developing Python applications
• Deep familiarity with Python 3.x, including advanced features (asyncio, type hints, context managers)
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, object-oriented design, and modular architecture
• Excellent knowledge of core AI/ML libraries and integrating with 3rd party services
• Commercial or open-source experience developing AI agents using established services or frameworks
• A problem-solver who stays steady in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
