Project Support Officer

• Contract length: 12-month contract with potential extension
• Work locations: ACT - must live in the Canberra region
• Key skills: Project coordination, reporting, scheduling
• Work arrangement: Hybrid 2/3 days in the office

We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer/Project Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of key IT and business projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative, coordination, and reporting support to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys being the backbone of effective project delivery.

Your duties will include:

• Providing day-to-day administrative and logistical support to the Project Manager
• Coordinating project activities, schedules, meetings, and workshops
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, registers, and artefacts
• Tracking project progress, actions, milestones, and budgets
• Preparing reports, dashboards, and meeting materials
• Supporting communication across internal teams and external delivery partners

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proven experience in project support or coordination roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or familiarity with project and portfolio management tools and methodologies
• Competence in document management systems, including SharePoint
• Exposure to DevOps tools and an understanding of complex delivery environments
