Senior Test automation Engineer

Contract - 12 months 
Rate: to be discussed 
Location: Bern - 1-2 times a week 

  • Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for APIs, cloud-based platforms, and applications.
  • Strategy & Planning: Create, review, and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Functional & Non-Functional Testing: Perform manual and automated testing, including performance, load, and security testing.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, providing support for development.
  • Collaboration: Work in Agile teams, collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and clients. 
Required Technical Skills
  • Automation Tools: Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., TOSCA).
  • Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of REST API testing, SQL, and load/security testing tools.
  • Platforms: Experience with cloud technologies (IBM Cloud) and Linux/Unix environments.
