Job Description: Senior Product Manager- Crypto & Blockchain

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager with 7-8+ years of experience to join our team and lead the product management function for our blockchain and cryptocurrency projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing product managers, overseeing the development of clear and detailed product requirements, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to deliver innovative products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance team of product managers, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

Oversee the work of developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Provide guidance and support to product managers in defining and executing their product strategies and roadmaps.

Product Oversight:

Ensure all product requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to cross-functional teams.

Act as the final approver for product specifications, user stories, wireframes, and workflows to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate closely with product managers to prioritize features and enhancements that align with business goals.

Collaboration& Communication:

Serve as the key point of contact between product management and senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Foster clear and effective communication between product managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across all projects.

Ensure that developers and designers have a thorough understanding of product requirements and business objectives.

Process & Standardization:

Establish and implement best practices for product management processes, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Continuously refine and improve workflows to ensure efficiency and alignment across teams.

Blockchain & Crypto Expertise:

Provide strategic input on blockchain and cryptocurrency product development, leveraging a deep understanding of industry trends and technologies.

Collaborate with product managers to incorporate emerging technologies, such as smart contracts, DeFi, and Layer-2 solutions, into product strategies.

Problem-Solving& Decision-Making:

Address roadblocks and challenges in product development with creative and data-driven solutions.

Balance technical constraints, market needs, and business priorities to make informed decisions.

Ownership & Accountability:

Take ownership of the overall success of the product management function, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Be prepared to work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines or address critical issues

Required Qualifications:

7-8+ years of experience in Product management, with at least 4 years managing product managers or cross-functional teams in crypto/blockchain or fintech applications.

Proven ability to define, document, and oversee complex product requirements.

Experience working on blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, including a solid understanding of blockchain technologies, DeFi, and tokenomics.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align diverse teams.

Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with smart contracts, Layer-1/Layer-2 blockchain solutions, or DeFi platforms.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Previous experience launching blockchain-based products or working in a fast-paced startup environment.
