Role Summary:

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a 6-month contract based onsite in Paris, France (1 day per week on site). This contract will be working with one of the largest Cisco Gold Partners in Europe. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performing network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, SDN, ACI) for our client.

This role requires candidates based in Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise network solutions across Cisco LAN/WAN/environments.
• Work on Datacentre projects focused on Cisco ACI, you'll be working with architects and project engineers to design and implement Cisco SDN.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, resolving complex issues as Level 3 support.
• Conduct capacity planning and propose scalability and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and participate in project planning.
• Stay up to date with networking trends and technologies, sharing best practices with the team.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in network engineering, ideally in secure or mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of VXLAN and Cisco ACI
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Fluent French and English Speaker

Contract Details:

• Contract length - 6 months (extensions available)
• Start date – March 2026 (ASAP)
• Day rate - Negotiable
