Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate UX Designer to support Business Banking initiatives by transforming complex problems into intuitive, elegant digital experiences. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in ambiguity, can hit the ground running, and confidently presents work to senior stakeholders. You will focus on dashboards, platforms, widgets, and cross-channel experiences while advocating for the user at every stage of the design lifecycle.

Approximately 25% of time will be spent in meetings, collaborating with internal partners across product, technology, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex business and user needs into elegant, user-centered experiences
• Lead user flows, wireframing, ideation, concept development, and experience innovation
• Create sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios, and storyboards
• Design future-state and near-term cross-channel experiences
• Partner closely with development teams to ensure design intent is accurately implemented
• Advocate for the user throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Present and clearly articulate design decisions to internal stakeholders
• Participate in usability testing, observational studies, and other user research activities
• Stay current with UX/UI best practices, tools, and emerging trends

Core Technical Skills

Required

• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer
• Proficiency in Figma (minimum 3 years)
• Strong experience designing dashboards, widgets, and platform-based interfaces
• Expertise in user-centered design methodologies
• Strong prototyping skills (sketching, wireframes, interactive prototypes)
• Ability to simplify and design complex user flows
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly and integrate feedback constructively
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong visual design sensibility
• Portfolio demonstrating visually compelling, user-centered design solutions

Preferred

• Experience in Business Banking or Financial Institutions (FI)
• Expertise in data visualization and dashboard design, translating complex datasets into meaningful insights
• Understanding of web and mobile technologies
• Experience collaborating in agile, multi-disciplinary teams

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI-driven design tools to generate or transform design assets
• Participation in usability testing, customer research, or observational studies

Soft Skills

• Strong storytelling and presentation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
