HYBRID SCRUM MASTER - ATLANTA, GA

Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization undergoing Agile transformation, is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

Position Summary: The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's Agile transformation initiatives by working closely with the Center of Excellence (COE) and Agile Captaincy. This role involves leading integration projects, managing product work, and overseeing business-as-usual (BAU) tasks. The Scrum Master will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across various initiatives, provide feedback to the COE, and implement best practices tailored to the team's needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership qualities, technical expertise in Jira and JQL, and experience with operational teams.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Proficiency in Jira, JQL, and dashboard creation (in JQL).
• Experience with operational teams and Agile coaching.
• Familiarity with automation within Jira and Confluence.
• Leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team.
• Experience working within a Center of Excellence (COE).

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
• Implement process improvements to enhance team velocity and throughput.
• Collaborate with the COE to provide feedback and refine best practices.
• Build and manage dashboards in Jira to improve visibility into team metrics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Motivate and engage the team to ensure accountability and collaboration.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to showcase workload, lead times, and backlog management.
