About the role

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager


Works closely with and have impact on: Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Operations


Reports to: Project Manager (Global Projects)


Function: Commercial Excellence


Work Location/Site: Singapore, Global Headquarters


Role Overview


This Project Manager position is responsible for the execution of assigned project deliverables on time within scope and expectation. Primarily focusing on cross-functional stake holders in RA, QA, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales to ensure goal of project is met. Facilitate collaborative works among all the stakeholders with global market and regulatory compliance focus to drive project progress.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned project and adapt work as required proactively
  • Coordinate internal resources to execute project effectively and ensure resource allocation as required
  • Ensure that all project milestones are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Identify gaps, risks and roadblocks in the project workstreams, gather supporting data, solve problems to drive project outcomes
  • Proactively identify and manage risks in the project with required mitigation actions
  • Escalate to management any risks or resource needs identified in project and/or workstreams
  • Communicate effectively project progress, risks and mitigation plan on regular basis
  • Measure project performance thru established KPIs and report to management regularly
  • Conduct data analysis for project planning purpose
  • Develop or modify project plans and track their progress
  • Lead project (workstream) core team meetings
  • Create and maintain all required project documentation
  • Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff
  • Prepare updates for the Steering committee
  • Provide mentorship to team member, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement


Requirements


Experience

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in a related area (project management, medical device, pharmaceutical biotechnology etc.) & overall not more than 8 years of experience
  • Have hands on experience leading Projects across the cross functional teams
  • Having interest to progress into Project Management
  • Able to actively collaborate with a serving leadership attitude to various stake holders
  • Self-starter and the ability to proactively drive initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced data analysis skill and MS Excel skills
  • Strong business acumen and financial analytical skill
  • Knowledge and experience in medical device industry is a plus
  • Basic finance knowledge will be an advantage
  • Comfortable working across global site locations and time zones


Skills/Accreditations

A PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is good to have


Academic Qualifications

At least bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management


Travel requirements

Between 10%-15% of time
