About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Software R&D team.

In this role, you will act as the voice of the customer, leading high-performing agile teams to deliver high-quality commercial payment solutions on time and within budget. You will play a critical role in shaping product direction, aligning stakeholders, and driving value creation in a scaled agile environment.

You will report to the Lead Product Owner / Head of R&D and work closely with customers (banks & acquirers), architects, engineers, QA, and cross-functional delivery teams.

What You Will Do

• Define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog across multiple initiatives
• Serve as the primary customer advocate for the agile team
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to shape features and user stories
• Lead sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and team demos
• Accept or reject delivered work to ensure value and quality standards are met
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to uplift team productivity and quality
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies within the Agile Release Train
• Apply customer-centric and design-thinking approaches to product delivery
• Support delivery risk management and impact assessments
• Guide solutions through testing, implementation, and transition into BAU

What You Will Bring

Qualifications

• University degree in Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• SAFe Product Owner (PO) certification or equivalent

Experience

• 10+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SAFe environment
• Strong background in financial services or payments
• Experience working with banks, acquirers, or large enterprise clients
• Demonstrated knowledge of card acquiring and payment services
• Proven experience leading cross-functional agile teams
