Business Analyst

We are looking for Business Analysts to join a European Institution based in Luxembourg. You will work on complex, large-scale digitalization and data-driven projects, collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders in an international environment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to complex projects under the guidance of senior team members, in close coordination with the PMO and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing business analysis on complex projects, including:
• Requirements analysis and elicitation
• Co-authoring business requirements with business experts
• Authoring functional requirements
• Delivering data governance components
• Drafting system business rules and user manuals
• Collecting and prioritizing business requirements with business owners for the digitalization of key documents
• Acting as a bridge between business experts and IT teams, including project managers, solution architects, data governance teams, and developers
• Supporting developers and testers on business and functional aspects, particularly during migrations and data-cleaning activities
• Enhancing the conceptual data model, mapping business processes, and building the functional architecture
• Participating in testing activities:
• Writing test strategies and test cases
• Preparing test data
• Executing test cases

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis and/or requirements engineering within a financial services institution (banking, insurance, investment, etc.)
• Proven experience in collaborative creation and iteration of specifications and acceptance criteria for the deployment of information and communication systems

Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Experience producing documentation such as business cases or business requirements summaries
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Ability to effectively engage both business stakeholders and development teams
• Experience defining requirements to:

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Experience with PEGA (preferably Constellation) in a financial organization is a plus
• Experience with functional testing and test automation scripting is an asset

Education & Language

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
