Join our growing Project & Development Services (PDS) team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects across diverse sectors.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of construction and development projects from planning through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to build your project management capability within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

About the Role

Reporting to a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will support the delivery of smaller projects end-to-end and assist with larger, complex projects. You will work closely with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project plans, programs and budgets
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics
  • Support risk management and issue resolution
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice processes

About You

You are commercially aware, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced construction or project delivery environment.

You Will Bring

  • 2-5 years’ experience in construction or project delivery
  • Experience supporting project planning, programming and budgeting
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Knowledge of construction processes and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera or similar tools
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management or related discipline
