Manufacturing Engineer

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new or updated production processes for efficient and economical mass production.
• Design factory equipment layout to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Define the sequence of production operations, including procedures for tool fabrication and equipment setup.
• Adapt machinery and processes based on factory conditions.
• Conduct tests in all stages of production to monitor variables and ensure process control.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex production-related problems.
• Provide guidance to product design engineering on specifications that best leverage manufacturing equipment and techniques.
• Ensure all production processes and procedures comply with regulatory requirements.
• Manage large-scale projects or end‑to‑end processes with limited oversight from management.
• Coach, review, and delegate tasks to junior or lower‑level engineers.
• Handle difficult and often complex problems requiring advanced expertise.

Requirements

• Swedish speakers only — Swedish language proficiency is required for this role.
• Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to support project structures and lead technical production teams.
• Strong background in Manufacturing Engineering through education and prior roles.
• Experience in mass production environments and process optimization.
• Ability to manage large or complex projects independently.
• Demonstrated experience guiding junior engineers and acting as a technical reference.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including design engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to manufacturing processes.
