Position Title: Senior Backend Engineer – Java

Location: Doha, Qatar

Experience: 6+ years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Build and expose secure RESTful APIs

• Integrate backend services with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability

• Support integrations with external governmental and financial systems

• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and technical governance

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of Java backend development experience

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring / Spring Boot

• Experience with microservices or modular enterprise architectures

• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)

• Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale platforms is a plus

• Prior BPM or workflow integration experience is a plus
