Release Manager

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Languages: English (B2-C1) - French is a plus

Work model: 2/3 days at the office

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work.

We are seeking a Senior Release Manager with strong experience managing complex, enterprise-level software releases in high-availability environments.

Your Profile:

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management for enterprise applications
• Proven experience reducing deployment risk through automation
• Exposure to Data Platforms is a plus
• Manage end-to-end release cycles across multiple teams and systems
• Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases with minimal risk
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Ensure release readiness, governance, and quality standards
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, operations, and business stakeholders
• Define and execute rollback and contingency plans
• Monitor deployments and post-release validation

Technical Environment:

• Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and ServiceNow
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
