About Trio
Trio is an IT management and security platform developed by TrioSoft Germany GmbH, built to simplify how organizations manage, monitor, and secure endpoints.
Our mission is to empower IT teams with tools that improve productivity and security while making device management smoother.
Trio is positioned as a Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform that brings device management + security/compliance + patch & vulnerability remediation + remote operations into one operational workflow.
In regulated environments, Trio can be deployed on-prem with no cloud dependency, combining UEM + Patch/Vuln + Compliance + Remote Ops (and more) in the same scope.

Why we’re hiring
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can own quality across both manual testing and Python-based automation, especially around MDM/UEM workflows and verification of apps/policies across operating systems.
⸻
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test suites for Trio’s UEM/MDM capabilities across platforms.
• Lead manual testing for core endpoint scenarios: enrollment/provisioning, policy enforcement, device actions, app lifecycle, and OS-specific behaviors.
• Design and implement automation in Python (e.g., API/integration/regression) to reduce repeated manual effort and protect critical workflows.
• Validate Patch & Vulnerability workflows (prioritization, rollout controls, rollback) and related reporting.
• Validate compliance posture + evidence outputs mapped to common frameworks (CIS/ISO/PCI/NIST) and ensure results are consistent and explainable.
• Test and verify Remote Ops capabilities (Remote Desktop + Command Center/Terminal, scripts/commands, service control, log collection).
• Partner closely with Engineering/Product to improve acceptance criteria, reproduce issues with strong diagnostics, and push quality upstream.
⸻
Must-haves
• Senior-level QA experience (manual + automation), with strong ownership and high standards.
• Python proficiency for building maintainable automated tests.
• Experience testing multi-OS environments (Windows/macOS + mobile is a strong plus).
• Strong skills in test design: risk-based testing, regression strategy, exploratory testing, clear defect reports.
• Comfort testing product areas like:
• policy management & enforcement
• software/app management & compliance
• monitoring/alerting & operational workflows
⸻
Nice-to-haves
• Hands-on experience with MDM/UEM ecosystems (e.g., enrollment models, device profiles, OS restrictions).
• Familiarity with SSO / SCIM / identity integrations testing.
• Experience validating remote support features (remote control, reboot, file transfer, process/service view, session artifacts).
• Exposure to regulated/on-prem deployments and security-first environments.
⸻
What you’ll get
• A high-impact role shaping quality for a platform that unifies UEM + compliance + patch/vuln + remote ops into a single workflow.
• Real-world enterprise scenarios (multi-OS, policy enforcement, audit readiness, remediation workflows).
• A team that values clarity, ownership, and engineering-grade QA.
