Main Purpose:

  • Responsible for protecting the organization’s IT and digital assets by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving cyber security controls.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, applications, networks, and data.
  • Support regulatory compliance, audits, and incident response.


Job Accountabilities:

  • Security Operations & Monitoring
  • Monitor security events using SIEM/SOC tools and investigate alerts.
  • Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
  • Support incident response, containment, remediation, and root cause analysis.
  • Vulnerability & Risk Management
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
  • Support risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews.
  • Coordinate with IT and application teams to address security gaps.
  • Security Controls & Implementation
  • Implement and maintain technical security controls across servers, endpoints, networks, applications, and databases.
  • Support firewalls, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, DLP, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Support user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Monitor privileged access and ensure compliance with access policies.
  • Compliance, Audit & Governance
  • Support compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in internal and external security audits, VA/PT, and compliance reporting.
  • Application & Infrastructure Security
  • Support secure configuration, patching, and hardening of systems.
  • Assist in secure SDLC activities, code security reviews, and penetration testing coordination.
  • Awareness & Continuous Improvement
  • Support security awareness initiatives and best practice adoption.
  • Track emerging threats and recommend security improvements.


Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals and threat landscape.
  • Experience with SIEM, endpoint security, firewalls, and vulnerability tools.
  • Knowledge of network, system, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Understanding of IAM, RBAC, and access governance.
  • Familiarity with security logging, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Governance & Compliance Skills
  • Understanding of ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS controls.
  • Experience supporting VA/PT, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and risk-focused mindset.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in 24×7 or incident-driven environments.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security or related fields.


Preferred Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CEH, Security+, ISO 27001, CISSP (or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
