Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Azure .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft’s .NET framework and Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for clean code, and experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework on Microsoft Azure.
Implement and integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Service Bus.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Required Skills And Experience

10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework development.
Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture and services.
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth, Azure AD).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desired Skills/Experience

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure).
Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
